PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply coating on a curved face by urging an arm-shaped support part so that a straight line connecting the rotating axial line of a roller body to the rotating fulcrum of the support part, is orthogonal with the moving direction of a coating device. SOLUTION: A roller body 72 is supported in a cantilever fashion so that a rotating axial line of the roller body 72 is horizontal by connecting an armlike support 73 to one end of the roller shaft 71 of a coating roller 7. the base end of the support part 73 is pivotally supported, in a freely vertically rotating manner, at the bearing 32 of a slider 3 with the help of a shaft pin 33 and the roller body 72 is rotated vertically at 180 deg. using the pivotal support part as a fulcrum. In addition, a first and a second tension spring 74, 75 are tensely mounted across the support part 73 and a coating roller mounting part 31. The support part 73 is urged so that a straight line connecting the rotating axial line of the roller body 72 to the rotating fulcrum of the support part 73 is orthogonal with the moving direction of the coating device A.
