PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket-attached assembly in which the basket follows a cutting unit to efficiently collect the cut grasses. SOLUTION: An assembly 36 for supporting a collection container 34 to collect grasses cut with a cutting unit 24 carried on a mowing vehicle 10 is provided. The assembly contains a member 26 which is extended in the lateral direction and is operably connected to the cutting unit so as to be moved together with the cutting unit. The laterally extended member is supported on the lift arm 14 of the vehicle to move with respect to the lift arm 14. The container such as a basket is disposed at a place adjacent to the cutting unit to receive the grasses cut with the cutting unit. The laterally extended member is engaged with the first and second engaging members 56, 58 separately arranged in the lateral direction, thus connecting the container to the cutting unit. The engaging members 56, 58 are attached to the laterally extended member so that the container can be moved independently from the lift arm together with the mowing unit.
