PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device and an image forming device provided with the sheet conveying device preventing the tip of a following sheet from being curled after feeding a preceding sheet and unrestricted in device layout. SOLUTION: A feed roller 7 is composed of a roller shaft 59; an eccentric member 72 provided around the roller shaft 59; a roller member 60 provided around the eccentric member 72; and a planetary gear unit 73 for selectively transmitting power to each part. When the roller member 60 is rotated being dragged by paper conveyed by a register roller after the completion of paper feeding action of the feed roller 7, this rotatory-driving is transmitted to the eccentric member 72 through the planetary gear unit 73 to eccentrically rotate the eccentric member 72 to thereby move the roller member 60 in a separating direction from the paper.
