PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to open or lift a seat lid or toile seat in a clean state without the contact with the rear surface of the insanitary seat lid and toilet seat adhered with filth, such as splashes, spray and bounced back matter of feces and urine. SOLUTION: The seat lid 2 or toilet seat 10 of a toilet bowl 1 is provided with a handle 3 for the seat lid and a handle 11 for the toilet seat having filth adhesion preventive walls 6 and 6' for blocking the adhesion of the filth, such as the splashes, spray and bounced back matter of the feces and urine.
