PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror which can be set without requiring a large space and to provide lighting which can reduce power consumption and has improved durability by a method wherein a light emitting element of an LED comprising a light emitting element and a resistor is used to light up the mirror, while a resistor of the LED is disposed on the rear side of the mirror to prevent moisture condensation. SOLUTION: A side mirror is provided beside a main mirror 1, and a large number of light emitting elements 3a of an LED 3 are provided, in a lateral row, on the top end side of the mirror 1 and the side mirror so that light is emitted from the elements 3a to effect lighting. A resistor 3b is connected to each of the elements 3a and the resistors 3b are spaced apart from the elements 3a so as to be affixed to the vicinity of the center of the rear side of the mirror 1, whereby when the elements 3a are turned on, the elements generate heat, which heat prevents moisture from being condensed on the mirror 1. Since the LED 3 which functions at low voltage is used, power consumption can be reduced and energy saving can be achieved.
