<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the operating condition of a solenoid regardless of the constitution of a coil and a magnetic circuit, that is, the kind of a valve. SOLUTION: A comparison means 3 compares voltage VDS developed at both the ends of the coil L of a solenoid with reference voltage VREF when detecting current is sent by a detecting current supply means 4, as the result of it, a signal ANS is outputted to the measuring means 4, the measuring means 4 thereby counts time required from starting the detection till the signal is shifted from a first signal level to a second signal level as the result of the comparison, and outputs data on measured time to a condition judging means, since the condition judging means discriminates the operating condition of the solenoid based on data on measured time, the operating condition of the solenoid (valve) can thereby be surely and quickly detected. Besides, since no current latch circuit (flip-flop circuit) is required, it is not required either to set the delay time of a delay circuit, the operating condition detecting device can thereby cope with the various kinds of the solenoid (valve).</p> |
