<p>A kit comprising an insertable medical device and a disc, both capable of having anti-infective properties. The disc (20) can be placed against a body surface (30) so that it surrounds and abuts the insertable portion of the device (10) which extends from the body surface. This arrangement can reduce or eliminate contamination associated with such devices, and permits such devices to remain in place for longer periods of time compared to conventional devices and methods of using those devices.</p> |
