A measuring process for determining the concentration of ions in liquids comprises influencing the electromagnetic oscillating field produced by a electrical generator with the aid of an oscillating coil with respect to the amplitude, frequency and phase in the presence of a liquid containing ions; and using the size of the change of these parameters as a measure for the ion concentration of the solution to be investigated.
