METHOD FOR GENERATING REFERENCE VOLTAGE IN REFERENCE VOLTAGE GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A method for generating a reference voltage in a reference voltage generator is provided to generate stably an internal voltage by preventing a fail phenomenon of a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: A detection circuit detects a developing state of a substrate voltage instead of an external power level by using a startup signal of a reference voltage generation circuit. An external power is applied when the reference voltage generation circuit and the detection circuit are operated. The substrate voltage is generated when the external power reaches a specific level. The detection circuit checks the developing state and a stabilizing state of the substrate voltage. The reference voltage generation circuit generates the reference voltage if the substrate voltage is in the stabilizing state. An internal voltage is generated according to the generated reference voltage.
