<p>PURPOSE:To prevent undesired excess line charge due to leaving useless connection at holding in an ISDN and to prevent provision of a sense of disorder to an opposite party because of transmission of a holding tone meaninglessly with low tone quality. CONSTITUTION:A system control section 14 utilizes at least plural established connections and upon the receipt of a command representing tentative holding from an operation section 13 during intercommunication, allocates single connection to voice information to allow a voice interface section 4 to send a holding tone to an opposite communication equipment and releases other connections than the allocated connection tentatively. In this case, the communication state at holding is stored in a storage section 17. Upon the receipt of a hold release command from the operation section 13, the released connection is set again according to storage information of the storage section 17 to be automatically restored for multiplex allocation before holding designation.</p> |
