PURPOSE: An apparatus for polishing a chalk for a cutter and needlework is provided to polish preferably the chalk by one operation only and to clean a polished dust while polishing of the chalk. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for polishing a chalk comprises a housing(1) for receiving a pair of polishing roller(5,5'), a left side and a right side covers(2) assembled to the housing for fixing the pair of polishing roller, a polishing unit having a plurality of polishing blade and a polished dust cleaning unit. The chalk polishing apparatus comprises an attachable and detachable dust drawer(4) for collecting a chalk dust mounted at a lower portion of the polishing roller. A diameter of the polishing blade is about 40 mm, and an interval thereof is 1-2 mm. The intervals between the polishing rollers(5, 5') is 0.5 mm, and the polishing rollers(5, 5') are rotatable each other.
