PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a facsimile terminal whose facsimile reception time is the shortest in the case of receiving a facsimile signal from an opposite party by a facsimile terminal selected among a plurality of facsimile signal receptible facsimile terminals. SOLUTION: A main control section 1 allows a changeover section 4 to select a receptible facsimile terminal whose data reception speed is the fastest that is stored in a data reception speed storage section 7 among facsimile terminals 200a to 200c in the case of receiving a facsimile signal. Thus, in the case of selecting a facsimile signal receptible communication terminal among a plurality of communication terminals to receive a facsimile signal from an opposite party, the communication terminal that satisfies the condition of a shortest facsimile reception time, an excellent print result or an excellent facsimile communication efficiency can be selected.
