摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft decision metric generation circuit in which its circuit scale, power consumption and generation of heat is reduced via a simple calculation when the maximum correlative energy value is calculated by means of the single and dual maximum decision method and in which the operation speed of the circuit and channel multiplexing can be performed. SOLUTION: A maximum value selection part 26 includes a rearrangement part 31 which writes eight significant Walsh symbols into a storage part 40 according to the correlative energy value about all Walsh codes and a soft decision metric generation part 32 which successively compares a bit set at a specific position in the head Walsh symbol with the same bits included in the second and subsequent Walsh symbols, detects a code changing point where the bit value is different from the value of the specific bit for the first time to generate a decision metric, generates the decision metrics about all six bits in the Walsh symbols and output the soft decision result.</p>
