INK-JET PRINT HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet print head equipped with an ink-repellent coat which is abrasion resistant and hard to wear under the action of a wiper blade normally used at a maintenance part of an ink-jet printer. SOLUTION: An ink-jet print head 10 includes a plurality of channels. The channels can be replenished with ink from an ink source. Terminal ends of the channels become nozzles 27 at on surface of the print head 10. The surface has a covalent bonded organosiloxane polymer coat. The organosiloxane polymer coat is substantially uniform and has no further layer thereon.
