PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert light energy to cracking reaction of organic matter, to enable recording of an ink jet system and to make it possible to obtain a high design characteristic as an interior ornament by providing at least one surface of a base material with a layer containing a thermal catalyst, then providing this surface with a layer containing a photocatalyst. SOLUTION: At least the one surface of the base material of the deodorant sheet is provided with the layer containing the thermal catalyst and is then provided with the layer containing the photocatalyst. The base material consists of a fibrous sheet which is an injection jet recording sheet having ink receptability. As a result, the light energy may be efficiently converted to the cracking reaction of the organic matter and, therefore, the deodorizability of the deodorant sheet is high and the sufficient deodorizability may be obtained in spite of irradiation with the sunshine, etc. In addition, the deodorizability is restored by regeneration with photoirradiation and, therefore, the deodorization effect persists long. Further, the recording of the widely popularized ink jet system is possible and the design characteristic may be enhanced by displaying the designed patterns and designs.
