A parallel optical transceiver module package using a guide pin and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to save a manufacturing cost by employing a passive alignment structure without using an expensive device. A parallel optical transceiver module package using a guide pin includes an optical fiver cable connector having an alignment guide groove with a plurality of embedded optical fibers. An adapter socket(1) has an adapter(11) where the optical fiber cable connector is plugged-in. An optical sub-assembly module(2) is mounted on the adapter socket and has a silicon optical bench with a micro lens array and a photo-electric device array chip. A circuit board(4) has an alignment guide hole and a control circuit and is arranged at a side of the optical sub-assembly module. A substrate housing(5) protects the circuit board. The optical sub-assembly module, the circuit board, and the substrate housing are aligned and connected by a guide pin(6) inserted into the alignment guide groove.
