PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for reporting the I/O result of delay write to a user program. SOLUTION: A table 0108 for preserving the error log of I/O is prepared, and when an error in I/O completing processing is reported, fault information is stored in the table. A user program 0101 calls a system call 0104 for referring to the table and the fault information is extracted, thereby knowing whether the written data can be normally written in an auxiliary storage device 0103 or not.
