BASE ISOLATING MEDICAL ROOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent polluted water in a room from flowing out by installing a base isolation floor on a basic face in a space surrounded with wall surfaces of a building of non-base-isolation structure via a base isolator, forming a clearance of an allowable amplitude or more between the outer circumferential edge of the base isolation floor and the building wall faces, and raising a cut-off frame upward in the circumferential edge of the base isolating floor. SOLUTION: A base isolator 96 is provided on a basic face 91 in a nonbase-isolation space surrounded with building walls of a nonbase-isolation structure and a base isolation floor 10 is arranged therein. The base isolation floor 10 is formed into a framed dish structure by raising a cut-off frame 22 around the whole outer circumferential edges, a clearance of an allowable amplitude or more estimated to occur during earthquakes is formed between the outer circumference of the cut-off frame 22 and the wall surfaces, and an extending/contracting elastic seal is arranged between the upper edge of the cut-off frame 22 and the inside face of a connection frame 41 arranged opposite thereto. The whole on the base isolation floor 10 is formed into a dish structure in respect to the liquid so that water and decontamination liquid used in sterilizing and eliminating bacteria for machines and equipment installed on the base isolation floor 10 are prevented from falling down to the base isolator side installed thereunder.
