<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve operability concerning a pointing device for information equipment such as personal computer. SOLUTION: Concerning the pointing device called pad type, a detector 5 is integrated for detecting a console panel 4 for operating a pointer with a finger is pressed more than certain power, and operated similarly to the left click key of a mouse. A new switch function is added to such a console panel itself. Thus, when the surface of the console panel is traced with a finger and the pointer is moved to a prescribed position, a switch is turned on by pressing the console panel with the same finger and both pointer operation and left click operation can be simultaneously performed with one finger by tracing the surface of the console panel with the finger while a little stronger pressing it as it is. Thus, drag and drop operation or operation such as range designation can be simultaneously performed with one finger and the pointer can be more easily operated.</p> |
