PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive drive circuit of an SR motor. SOLUTION: This drive circuit is composed of two systems of pusitive and negative DC power supplies formed by connecting a single-phase input power supply connected to the center connection point of each serial circuit in the serial circuit consisting of rectifier diodes 1 and 2, and that consisting of capacitors 3 and 4 connected to both ends in parallel, a drive circuit consisting of four parallel circuits, where switch elements 5 to 8 and communication diodes 9 to 12 are connected in series, and an SR motor 13 consisting of drive coils 15 to 18.
