DYNAMIC BEARING OF SPINDLE MOTOR HAVING CONTINUOUS PRESS BAND

PURPOSE: A dynamic bearing of a spindle motor having a continuous press band is provided to compensate for the driving condition of a rotary shaft by making the generation of the dynamic pressure which supports the rotary shaft when the rotary shaft is driven uniform. CONSTITUTION: A triangular press band(21) is disposed in a dynamic bearing(20) on the upper and lower sides of the lengthwise direction. A fluid flow passage(22) is formed so that an oil is continuously flowed between the triangular points of the press band(20). The fluid flow passage(22) connected between the press band(21) is narrower than the width of the press band. The connecting portion of the fluid flow passage(22) has an extending portion(24) to smoothly flow the oil. The extending portion(24) is rounded. At least one fluid flow passage(23) is formed with respect to the press band(21).
