ACCUMULATOR OF COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: An accumulator of a compressor is provided to minimize resistance by resonance effect and to reduce vibration and noise thereby by changing the diameter of a connecting tube in an accumulator body when refrigerant flows into a compressor through the connecting tube from the accumulator. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator of a compressor is comprised of: an accumulator body(201) having a refrigerant inlet port(201a) on the upper end and a hollow portion(201b) connected with the refrigerant inlet port; a connecting tube(202) inserting a specific length of end portion to the hollow portion of the accumulator body and having a lower end connected to a compressor body(1); a screen holder(204) with a screen(203), positioned between the refrigerant inlet port and the connecting tube in the hollow portion; and an oil hole(205) set on the lower portion in the accumulator body to be connected with the connecting tube. A part of the connecting pipe positioned on the hollow portion of the accumulator body is extended to have a larger diameter(A) than the other portions. Therefore, resistance is minimized when refrigerant flows into the compressor through the connecting tube.
