WASHING MACHINE HAVING AUTOMATIC THREAD DISCHARGING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A washing machine equipped with an automatic thread discharging device is provided to separate solid materials such as thread, and discharge the thread automatically with wash water by installing a cyclone separator in a circulation passage. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises; a washtub(60) installed in a washing machine case; a circulation passage(70) connected from the bottom of the washtub to the upper side, and circulating the wash water; a circulation pump(71) installed in the circulation passage to flow the wash water forcibly; a thread separator(80) installed in the circulation passage and separating solid materials such as thread by cyclone; a thread collecting device(85) connected to the lower part of the cyclone thread separator, and storing the thread and etc.; and a drain hose(90) connected from the lower part of the thread collecting device to the outside, and discharging the wash water, the thread and etc. The cyclone thread separator consists of a separation case(81) which comprises; an intake(82) installed in the upper side part for the inflow of the wash water; a drain outlet(83) installed in the lower end part for discharging the thread and the wash water; and a discharge outlet(84) installed in the upper part to discharge the separated wash-water to the circulation passage. The drain hose is connected to the outside of the case, and a drain valve(95) is installed in the drain hose to open/close the passage.
