PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing a silver tile, where a ceramic tile and silver are strongly adhered together so the silver plating is not peeled off from the ceramic tile in spite of a long-term use and also discoloration of the plated silver can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) a first plating process(10) which forms a first silver-plated layer having a thickness of 0.1-0.2 millimeter on a ceramic tile by spraying a colloidal silver solution on one side surface of a ceramic tile and sintering the tile at 1,000 deg.C for 2-3 minutes and then cooling down the tile at room temperature for 3-5 hours; (ii) a second plating process(20) which forms silver-plated layer having a thickness of 0.3-0.8 millimeter on the surface of the first silver-plated layer by coating the surface of first silver-plated layer with silver powder having a size of 0.5-1 millimeter in diameter and purity degree of 99.99% and sintering the tile at 1,000 deg.C for 2-3 minutes and then cooling down the tile at room temperature for 3-5 hours; (iii) a washing process(30) which removes contaminants from the silver-plated layer formed by the second plating process(20) by spraying organic solvent on the surface of the silver-plated layer and drying it; and (iv) a coating process(40) which coats the surface of the silver-plated layer with a coloration preventing agent and dries it at room temperature for 3-5 hours.
