METHOD FOR FORMING CALL UNDER REGENERATION OF AUDIO DATA IN MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING MP3 PLAYER

PURPOSE: A method for forming a call under the regeneration of audio data in a mobile terminal having an MP3 player is provided to hold audio data under regeneration in case that a call is needed in the middle of the regeneration of the audio data and to automatically and continuously regenerate the audio data when the call is finished. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone module(102) controls the generic operation of a portable phone. A keypad(104) is provided with various function keys and numeric keys for calls. A display unit(106) receives and displays key input signals generated from the keypad(104) and various information signals from the portable phone module(102). An RS232C connection unit(108) exchanges audio data and other data with a personal computer through an RS232C cable. An ear-phone(110) outputs audio data regenerated in the portable phone module(102). An MP3 decoder(114) decompresses audio data compressed as an MP3 format into PCM type data. A D/A converter(112) converts the PCM audio data outputted from the MP3 decoder(114) into analog audio data. A CPU(116) carries out a control operation to receive and record MP3 audio data or to regenerate the recorded MP3 audio data. A memory(118) stores the digital audio data converted as the MP3 format by the control of the CPU(116).
