PURPOSE: An electronic guitar is provided to simplify the manufacturing of the guitar by integrating a speaker in a pickup housing mounted in a direction crossing strings at lower parts of the strings for improving the appearance and directly emit sound generated by the speaker via a sound emitting space part in a pickup housing without intercepting a pickup for improving the performance of the guitar. CONSTITUTION: An electronic guitar includes a main body(2) integrally formed with a fingerboard plate and incorporating a battery and an amplifier having a pickup(6), a speaker(5), and a volume switch, wherein a pickup housing receiving chamber(20) formed with a pickup receiving chamber(13) for receiving the pickup and a sound emitting space part(14), and a speaker chamber(23) for receiving the speaker are formed to be communicated with each other in the main body at a position where strings are passing.
