GALLOSILICATE MOLECULAR SIEVE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A gallosilicate molecular sieve(1.0Ga2O3 : 2.0-10.0SiO2) having porosity and crystallinity is provided to exchange +1 or +2 ions selectively and separate gases from mixed gas. The gallosilicate molecular sieve has reversible vapor(H2O) adsorptivity(≧7.0wt.%) and high thermal stability(≧500deg.C) and homogeneous pore(≧3angstrom). CONSTITUTION: The gallosilicate molecular sieve is prepared by the following steps of: mixing Ga2O3 with alkali(+1) hydroxide solution(NaOH, KOH) or mixture thereof in a molar ratio of 1:1-10(in calculating as M2O); dissolving at 100±10deg.C; adding 2-20M(based on 1M of Ga2O3) of colloidal silica sol or amorphous silica slowly for 5-10mins; stirring to produce the reactant expressed as xM2O : Ga2O3 : ySiO2 : zH2O, where x=1-10M, y=2-20M and z=50-250M; hydrothermal reacting at 100-200deg.C for 1-21days.
