APPARATUS FOR MEASURING NECK LENGTH

PURPOSE: A neck length measuring apparatus is provided to enhance efficiency and productivity by automatically measuring length of the neck. CONSTITUTION: A neck length measuring apparatus includes a gripper(10), a length measuring unit(20), a neck receiving unit(50) and a neck preheating unit(60). The gripper(10) grips the outer periphery of a neck(1) transported by a neck transporting robot with fingers(19) connected to a cylinder. The length measuring unit(20) is arranged at one side of the gripper(10) and coordinate with the gripper(10) to measure the length of the neck(1). The neck receiving unit(50) is arranged at the opposite side of the fingers(19) and temporarily receives the neck(1) on a turntable(52). The neck preheating unit(60) is arranged under the neck receiving unit(50) to heat a bonding section at a temperature of 80deg.C.
