CULTIVATION PROCESS OF CORDYCEPS

PURPOSE: A cultivation process of Cordyceps is provided to mass-produce and easily treat Cordyceps by controlling the condition for cultivation while producing fruit bodies by inoculating Cordyceps militaris and Paecilomyces japonica on a silkworm in the larval stage or in the pupa stage. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation process of Cordyceps comprises the steps of: preparing a culture ground in a cultivation vessel; sterilizing the culture ground and inoculating Cordyceps germs like Cordyceps militaris and Paecilomyces japonica in the sterilized culture ground; cultivating the inoculated culture ground to hyphae in a cultivation room at 18-22deg.C for 10-15days; and growing the culture ground into Cordyceps fruit bodies in mass production facilities for 4-5days to bud. The culture ground is prepared by making culture solution with distilled water, water made by boiling potato, optionally sugar or chitosan, and agar; and infiltrating the culture solution into Cordyceps host to have a moisture content of 65-75.
