PURPOSE: A balun circuit for low voltage is provided to separate the DC and AC of a bipolar transistor(Q1) using a coupling capacitor to make the collector voltage of bipolar transistors(Q1,Q2) to become lower than a base voltage and be operated in a bias voltage(Vbias) lower than 2Vbe. CONSTITUTION: The balun circuit for low voltage comprises bipolar transistors(Q1-Q4) and capacitors(C1,C2). The transistors(Q1,Q2) are turned on by a bias current(Ibias) and the transistors(Q3,Q4) are turned on by a bias voltage(Vbias), which supply collector-emitter voltage to operate the transistors(Q1,Q2) in a forward-active mode. The capacitor(C1) serves to alternatively connect the collector and base of the transistor(Q2). The capacitor(C2) serves to shield the DC voltage between a voltage(v1) and the collector of the transistor(Q1).
