AIR PURIFYING SYSTEM OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An air purifying system is provided to discharge purified air into an indoor space by adding a sterilizer to a hybrid catalyst. CONSTITUTION: An electric dust collector(10), a hybrid catalyst(20) and a sterilizing filter(30) are mounted on the intake port of an air conditioner sequentially to eliminate pollutants included in indoor air. The hybrid catalyst includes a pollutant adsorber having plural fine pores to adsorb pollutants passing through the electric dust collector, and a pollutant remover for eliminating the adsorbed pollutants sinking in the fine pores of the pollutant adsorber. The sterilizing filter is made as Cu fiber metal is spread in a mesh form and coated by nonwoven fabric(24). The sterilizing filter eliminates bacteria included in the air passing through the hybrid catalyst by using the sterilizing property of Cu.
