PURPOSE: A method for controlling duty according to the variation of turbine RPM when shifting gears is provided to simply calculate the duty to achieve the variation of target turbine RPM in each section, and to improve response according to shift by controlling the duty after passing a predetermined section if gear position is changed from downshift to upshift. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling duty according to the variation of turbine RPM when shifting gears comprises the steps of: detecting turbine RPM according to running; determining that current gear position is changed from downshift to upshift if the turbine RPM decreases after increasing; and controlling the duty after passing a predetermined section if the current gear position is changed from downshift to upshift.
