PURPOSE: An improvement method of illumination is provided to use the middle part among the whole images in calculating of illumination, as using a histogram equalization as for a program, controlling illumination in aspect of software, and improve calculating speed and reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: An improvement method is consist of a step inputting image; a step calculating as lighting only regular part of the center among whole images input; a step calculating average lighting of regular part of the center; a step judging that the average lighting is between the regular illumination; a step to let the lighting be between the regular illumination as revising by a histogram equalizer if the average lighting is not between the regular illumination; a step sending to input of image if the average lighting is between the regular illumination. If the average lighting is not between 80-200, the lighting is performed between the regular illumination by revising the histogram equalizer(S5). If the average lighting is between the regular illumination, the image input of prevention for lane separation is made up as sending to the image input of an electric control unit(S6).
