<p>A coin counting and sorting device small in size and simple in structure, wherein an approximately arc-shaped coin feeding route (23) having a coin take-in port (24) and disposed along the outer periphery of a rotating disk (10) is provided on the outer periphery of the rotating disk (10) rotated by a handle (17), and a plurality of sorting holes (25) allowing the coins to be sorted and fall in the order of increasing diameters sequentially starting at the upstream side toward the downstream side of transfer are provided in the coin feeding route (23), a transfer belt (30) of annular shape in plan view which transfers the coins while pressing them toward the surface of the coin transfer route (23) is disposed over the outer periphery of the rotating disk (10) and formed so as to rotate in synchronism with the rotation of the rotating disk (10), and coin identifying means (31) for identifying the number and diameter of the coins is disposed in the coin feeding route (23) between the coin take-in port (24) and the sorting holes (25) on the upstream-most side.</p> |
