Disclosed is a locally light-emitting road sign apparatus. Light guide-based locally light emitting panels configured to locally emit light on a road sign unit formed by characters, numbers, symbols or shapes are independently inserted and installed in an opening of a main board for road sign unit. A road sign unit comprises a sub-board and a feedback reflection sheet stacked and bonded to the each local light emitting panel. A feedback reflection sheet is bonded to the main board to form a background of the road sign unit. If one of the road sign units is out of order, the one can be simply separated, repaired or replaced while leaving the rest. The present invention is capable of facilitating maintenance and repair, and remarkably reducing maintenance and repair costs. The installation costs can be saved and the resources can be recycled since the present invention can be additionally installed to an existing road signboard. The power consumption can be minimized since the present invention provide a local light emitting function allowing local light emitting from road sign units of the entire surface of the light guide panel. Moreover, the separate waterproof work is not necessary when performing maintenance and repair since the local light emitting panel is completely waterproof. |
