PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of preventing the occurrence of spark even if microwave irradiation is applied and controlling an infiltration amount of microwaves into an object. SOLUTION: A microwave infiltration amount control vessel 20 is made of a metallic raw material such as aluminum like a sheet or a plate provided with a bottom face and a side wall, and end parts thereof are folded down or wound in. An infiltration amount of microwaves into the vessel is controlled by changing any of a shape of an opening part of the vessel, an area, and a height of the side wall. Even when this vessel containing food or beverage is put in a microwave oven and microwave irradiation is applied on it, spark is not generated and an infiltration amount of microwaves can be properly controlled to enable cooking by adjusting heat.
