PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam receiving device capable of generating a horizontal line which becomes a reference at any place of construction site and obtaining a execution face at a fixed distance in the vertical direction from a reference line of laser beam and an execution method for a building member using the same. SOLUTION: This laser beam receiving device is provided with a receiving device body 2 in which a marking reference line 4 is marked on a side face, a scale bar 6 which is slidably provided vertically to the marking reference line 4 on the side face of the receiving device main body 2 and in which a parallel plate 9 fixed in parallel with the marking reference line 4 is provided at an upper end or a lower end in the direction of length, and a leg part 3 which is slidably inserted into a leg hold hole 5 passing through the receiving device main body 2 vertically to the marking reference line 4 and erects at an arbitrary height where light track of laser beam 101 is received. According to this laser beam receiving device, marking laser beam can be received at an arbitrary place on a plane where least beam irradiated horizontally from a laser beam irradiation device can be received, and the parallel plate can slide to a distance having a desired dimension from the marking reference line to obtain a height and a degree of horizontal accurately.
