PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply manufacture a carrier tape having a recess therein from a cardboard base material. SOLUTION: A carrier tape-manufacturing device comprises a receiving table 11 for receiving a cardboard base material 10a and a pressing plate 12 arranged in opposition to the receiving table 11 and having an opening hole 14. A punch 13 is inserted into the opening hole 14 of the pressing plate 12. The pressing plate 12 abuts against the receiving table 11 and has a leg 12a forming a clearance (g) between it and the base material 10a. When a recess is to be molded at the base material 10a by the punch 13, the bottom surface of the recess is protruded to the receiving table 11 and the base material 10a is floated entirely from the receiving table 11. |
