PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a good wet brake performance and a traction performance. SOLUTION: Small blocks 18a to 18f composing a block 18 formed on a tread and divided by a sipe 24 are provided. A block base portion 30 making a bottom of the sipe 24 has tilting sides 34, 36 from a lowest portion 32 toward opening portions 20, 22. Therefore, the stiffness in the opening portions 20, 22 sides of the small blocks 18a to 18f, which takes the lowest value when a sipe having a fixed depth is formed, is improved to suppress falling down, so that a specified wet brake property can be ensured. Since the height of opening portion ends of a bottom raising a portions 30A, 30B are different, an area 38 between the bottom raising portions 30A, 30B is decreased, and a bottom part 28 of the sipe 24 is formed in a V-shape so as to easily open, so that a snow blockage resulting from use can be prevented to suppress the reduction in a snow traction performance. |
