PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a process, to enhance production efficiency and to reduce cost by forming a light source into at least one linear light source which continuously extends under plural indicating buttons. SOLUTION: An EL fiber 4 forming a linear light source 4 is used for a light source. The EL fiber 4 is bent so as to form linear sections A, B, C corresponding to the array of the protruding parts 5b of a key rubber 5. The EL fiber 4 is inserted in a recessed groove 5a. In this case, with the EL fiber 4 supported by the recessed groove 5a, it may be moved along with the up and down movement of an indicating button 2, however, it is fixed if possible in order to secure stability of its movement. For this purpose, it is desired to form the recessed groove 5a deeper than the up and down movement range (stroke) of the indicating button 2. In the case of complicated disposition of the indicating buttons or when a multicolor display is required, two or three linear light sources of the same kind or different kinds may be used, and 2-3 terminals are connected according to them.
