PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the output of a heater heating processing solution inside a processing solution tank small by utilizing waste heat produced inside a developing device and heating a replenishment tank with the waste heat. SOLUTION: This developing device is provided with the processing solution tank 21 for a photographic sensitive material, and the replenishment tank 24 storing the replenishment solution for replenishing the inside of the tank 21; and also provided with a heating means 5 recovering the waste heat produced inside the developing device and heating the replenishment solution, and a control means 6 comparing the set temperature of the processing solution tank with that of the replenishment solution and controlling the heating of the means 5.
