PURPOSE: A system is provided to generate and provide a document including guide information to a destination related with a request originator position. CONSTITUTION: A WWW server for providing a home page(HP) to a client has a CPU(11) a memory(12) for storing a program of the CPU(11) a communication controller(13) connected to an Internet, an HP database(14) and a map database(15). When the controller(13) receives a transmission request of the HP including map information from the client through the Internet, the CPU(11) acquires client's position information and reads the map including the destination from the database(15). The CPU(11) writes a mark at a ground point indicated by the acquired position information on the read map. The CPU(11) generates an HP to be transmitted by engaging the map at the map information. The controller(13) transmits the HP thus generated to the client of the request originator.
