DISPLAY SCREEN WITH BACK LIGHT

PURPOSE: A display screen with a back light is provided to uniformly distribute the light of a back light system for a display screen. CONSTITUTION: The display screen is provided with the back light system equipped with at least a light source(1) and a light guide plate(2). In this case, the uniform light distribution is attained by scattering the light(5) by a reflective notch(10) in the side face(9) of the light guide plate(2) and/or a recessed part(11) with a straight wall vertical to the front side(7) and/or the back side(8) of the light guide plate(2).
