摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an error in a distance conversion by subtracting a processing time delay, compensating for the data length having the condition in which no processing time delay exists and distance converting to realize a perfect differentiation. SOLUTION: A computational process is conducted in a CPU 26 to convert a data length into distance data from the time component of the data length of lead data. This process is conducted by compensating for the waveform processing time delay in the time component of the lead data outputted by a lead circuit means, which is made up with a magnetic head 16, an amplifying circuit 27, a differentiating circuit 28 and a computing circuit 29. The waveform processing delay time is converted to a time data portion that is clock converted by the CPU 26, subtracted from all data of the time data of reading signals f and shifted. In other words, when converting the distance of a data length P, computations are made by using a constant distance A which is obtained by converting progress times tc1 and tc2 of the rising and the falling of the signals in front and back, progress times td1 to td4 of pulse signals b, waveform processing delay time and the interval between the pulse signals b.</p>
