<p>The handling process entails the exact positioning of a stack (4) of trays. It may be used for trays carrying freshly cast products at a concrete block-making plant. Once in position the stack is picked up by an automatic lifting machine such as a grab-hoist, the process using successive longitudinal and transverse displacements to bring the stack into contact with crosswise (2) and sidelong (3) stops. A motorised roller (6) conveyor (7) of a greater width than the stack moves the deposited stack up to a transverse stop (2) at one end. Transverse movement of the conveyor section (9) then brings the stack into contact with the sidelong stop. The other sections (8) of the conveyor may also be fitted with sidelong stops providing guidage.</p> |
