PURPOSE: Disclosed are a method and a device for removing the vibration of a strip material in a cooling zone by improving a catching method of cooling gas between the strip material and a blasting box and fixing the strip material. CONSTITUTION: This method for removing the vibration of the strip material continuously shifted comprises: through a heat treatment or a coating line zone blasting the cooling gas on the strip material(1) continuously shifted, particularly, through an apparatus for cooling by blasting jet gas stream and provided with the coating line for the metallic strip material, the pressure and/or the flowing speed of the cooling gas are adjusted to lower values than the apparent values in a zone positioned at one side ridge of the one side surface of the strip material and also adjusted to lower values than the apparent values at the reverse side ridge positioned at the other side surface of the strip material.
