PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display panel which has no warpage of a substrate or display irregularity due to an irregular gap and which is suitable for a large size liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel having a liquid crystal 5 sealed between a TFT(thin film transistor) substrate 2 and a color filter substrate 3 and having a polarizing plate 8 laminated, a stress relieving layer 10 consisting of one of polyester, polyethylene, methylpolymethacrylate and polycarbonate is formed so that the stress relieving layer 10 relieves the stress added on the liquid crystal display panel.
