PURPOSE: To obtain a piezoelectric chip filter that is formed by laminating a plurality of energy confinement piezoelectric filters so as to effectively suppress spurious radiation outside the pass band. CONSTITUTION: Piezoelectric substrate 1, 2 configuring 1st and 2nd energy confinement piezoelectric filter sections are laminated via a spacer 8 and 1st and 2nd case substrates 10, 11 are laminated above and under the substrates 1, 2 in the piezoelectric chip filter. In the piezoelectric chip filter, an area of a 1st cavity 8a not to disturb vibration caused in the spacer 8 between the 1st and 2nd case substrates 10, 11 is more than areas of 2nd and 3rd cavities 7a, 9a formed in the outside of the 1st and 2nd piezoelectric substrates 1, 2.
