PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load applied to a latch receiver to reduce a load force of an overcurrent detection part for turning the latch receiver. SOLUTION: In this opening/closing mechanism, an alarm output plate 56 vertically slidably provided along a cover plate 27 is locked to engagement protrusions 27d of the cover plate 27 through a pair of right and left guide holes 57, while one end of a handle spring 59 turning an operation handle 26 to a tripping display position when tripping is hung on the alarm output plate 56. When an overcurrent detection part rotationally drives a latch receiver 47 to release lock of a latch, a stored energy of a main spring 64 opens a circuit breaker. At that time, the alarm output plate 56 is slidingly driven sideways to allow releasing the lock, and is driven upward by a spring force of the handle spring 59 to actuate an alarm contact.
