PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily adjust spatial frequency characteristics without executing complex arithmetic processing. SOLUTION: In this image processor, plural pixel groups G0-G3 consisting of one or more pixels in a sub-matrix are preset for a sub-matrix 21 and also sub-filters 30-33 are provided corresponding to these respective pixel groups. In each sub-filer, the sum of brightness values of each pixel included in each pixel group and prescribed coefficients according to filter characteristics for a desired spatial frequency adjustment are integrated in parallel in each sub- filter, and these integrated results are summed by an adder, then they are added to an original brightness value of the center pixel by the adder, and are outputted as a new brightness value of the center pixel. |
